Biography

Kristine Puopolo is a senior editor at Doubleday Books, part of Penguin Random House, where she has worked for fifteen years. Recent books include Black Flags: The Rise of ISIS by Joby Warrick, winner of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for General Non-Fiction; The Billion Dollar Spy by David Hoffman, a New York Times bestseller; and How to Fly a Horse by Kevin Ashton, winner of the 800-CEO-READS Best Business Book of 2015. Kris got her start in book publishing as an assistant at Random House, Inc. in 1992. She lives in Brooklyn.
