Adrian Nicole LeBlanc

Adrian Nicole LeBlanc is a journalist, MacArthur fellow, and the author of Random Family: Love, Drugs, Trouble, and Coming of Age in the Bronx (Scribner, 2003). The result of twelve years closely following the lives of her subjects, the book chronicled the impact of poverty in one extended family. She has been a fellow at the Lewis B. Cullman Center for Scholars at the New York Public Library and the American Academy in Berlin. She is a currently completing a nonfiction book about standup comedy for Random House.
