Ellie Robins

Ellie Robins grew up in southeast London and worked as an editor for ten years at Hesperus Press in London, Time Out Buenos Aires (in, uh, Buenos Aires), and Melville House Publishing in Brooklyn. She’s been lucky enough to work on great books, from New York Times bestsellers to cult classics.

Now living in Los Angeles, she writes about the environment and literature, and has a series at the Los Angeles Review of Books called “Construction Sites of Los Angeles.” She also translates from Spanish — recently, A History of Money, a novel by the Argentine writer Alan Pauls (Melville House, 2015).
