Emily Rapp Black is the author of Poster Child: A Memoir, and The Still Point of the Turning World, which was a New York Times bestseller. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Salon, Slate, VOGUE, the Wall Street Journal, Redbook, O the Oprah Magazine, and many other publications. She holds the Joseph Russo Endowed Chair of Creative Writing at the University of New Mexico, and is a professor in the MFA in Creative Writing and the Performing Arts at UC-Riverside Palm Desert. Since 2012, she has been a literary correspondent for the Boston Globe.
