Julie Miesionczek started her publishing career at Random House, first at Doubleday Broadway, then the Crown Publishing Group, before moving to Penguin (now Penguin Random House) to work at Pamela Dorman Books/Viking, and most recently Viking Books. In 2014, she became an independent editor to do what she loves full-time: work directly with authors to make their manuscripts the best they can be. She received her undergraduate degree from The George Washington University, which included an academic year at Oxford University, and her graduate degree from The University of Chicago. Though she specializes in fiction, Julie edits a range of fiction and nonfiction. She has worked with many award-winning and best-selling authors, including Jojo Moyes, Luanne Rice, Jasper Fforde, Paolo Giordano, Stuart Rojstaczer, Anne M. Fletcher, April Wilder, and Beth Hoffman.
