Michelle Burford



Michelle Burford is a Harvard-trained journalist, a New York Times best-selling author, a seasoned book collaborator, and the founding Senior Editor of O, The Oprah Magazine. For more than a decade, Michelle served as an editor and contributing writer at the award-winning publication.

Books: Michelle has written books on behalf of Olympic gold medalist Gabrielle Douglas; legend vocalist Toni Braxton; TED speaker and Paralympic snowboard champion Amy Purdy; and Cleveland kidnap survivor Michelle Knight, the first of three girls brutalized by Ariel Castro. She is in the final stages of a book collaboration with Diane Guerrero from Orange Is the New Black. Michelle’s writing has been endorsed by Deepak Chopra and by Elizabeth Gilbert, author of The New York Times international bestseller Eat, Pray, Love.
