Ramona Pilar is a writer/performer, emotional fluffer and native Californian. Her prose has appeared in the Lumen Blog, LatinoLA, and BitterLemons among others and has work appearing in the forthcoming Mujeres de Maiz annual zine and “Coiled Serpent,” an anthology from Tia Chucha Press. She mentors with Kid City Hope Place in downtown Los Angeles and has a blast leading pop-culture myth-based creative writing workshops around Los Angeles. She can occasionally be found troubadouring around Los Angeles with her band The Raveens. A long time member of Women Who Submit, Ramona has an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University, Los Angeles.
