Renée Camus is a writer, dancer, and pop culture junkie living in San Fernando, California, with her animator husband and two beautiful cats. After pursuing dance history and performance for most of her life, including producing a video called Dancing through the Centuries, she moved to Los Angeles in 2012, at age 42, to pursue a new career in entertainment journalism. She currently writes about entertainment and popular culture, as well as personal essay, for digital and print publications, such as Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles magazine, LA Weekly, New York Observer, Hello Giggles, Moviefone, Mashable, and Playboy, among others. She also created her own writer’s website and blog using WordPress, and helps other writers and organizations with web design and website building.
