Sabrina Almeida



Sabrina Almeida hails from Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. She has a BS from MIT and an MFA from USC. Sabrina mostly writes serialized, character-driven dramas with strong, logic-based procedural elements. But she has also written comedies, including nine produced episodes of Invention Story, an animated children’s TV show. Sabrina is currently in the CBS Writers Mentoring Program.  She has also been a part of the Latino Lens: U.S. Hispanic Drama Series Incubator, two Latino Scene Showcases, the National Hispanic Media Coalition TV Writers Program, the L.A. Scripted Comedy Festival, and the Broad Humor Film Festival. Sabrina currently serves as the Scholarship Director for Alliance for Women in Media Southern California.
