Sarah Tuft’s plays have been developed or produced at Geffen Playhouse, EST’s Lexington Center, Naked Angels, Public Theater, Skirball Center, Vineyard Theatre, 24 Hour Plays at BAM, among others, with actors including Billy Crudup, Ossie Davis, Ruby Dee, Edie Falco, James Gandolfini, Neil Patrick Harris, John Hawkes, Samuel L. Jackson, Melissa Leo, Aasif Mandvi, Cynthia Nixon, Susan Sarandon, Tony Shalhoub and Kathleen Turner. Her plays are published by Playscripts and produced internationally. Sarah’s blogs have been published in HuffPost, Indiewire Women And Hollywood, New York Times. Sarah’s directed at the Cherry Lane Theatre and a 24 Hour Play at the Atlantic Theater. Her short films screened at the Hamptons International Film Festival, LA ShortsFest, Lake Placid, Clermont-Ferrand and aired on IFC. Sarah is a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellow and member of Film Fatales and Los Angeles Female Playwrights Initiative. Sarah’s latest plays include MARVEL(OUS) MONICA and PATTI SMITH, P.I., premiering at Detroit’s Monster Box Theater this spring.
