Victoria Wisdom, producer and manager, recently set up the features Labyrinths with Hilary Swank, and Taravella with Amy Adams. Victoria was previously a partner at literary agency Becsey Wisdom Kalajian as well as an agent at ICM. Victoria has represented the writers and directors of Oscar-winning films The Usual Suspects, The Red Violin, and UK Oscar winner Love And Death on Long Island, as well as Oscar nominees Lone Scherfig (An Education), Doug McGrath (Bullets Over Broadway), winner Christopher McQuarrie, Tony nominee David Ives (Venus in Fur), and directors Richard Gladstein (Still Alice) and Bryan Singer (XMen). BWK clients included Oscar winners Crash, Million Dollar Baby, and The Fugitive. Additionally, Victoria sold the hit CBS drama series Criminal Minds, now in its ninth season.
Prior to BWK and ICM, Victoria ran the East Coast Literary Dept. of APA. For the last ten years, Victoria has also been teaching Advanced Screenwriting and Drama Pilot writing at UCLA. Her upcoming UCLA Extension Writer’s Program Advanced Drama Pilot Writing class is accepting applications and begins April 21st.
